Description

A delightful slender shaped Arita Imari vase of superb quality typical of the Fukagawa standard of excellent decorative design.

Hand decorated in the typical Imari pallette with the added raised light green highlights emphasising the profusion of finely painted leaves in gold.The two larger of the four panels feature two birds among foliage and flora with a further exotic bird flying above.

Bearing the earlier Koran Sha Fukagawa mark,c1865 to the base this collectable vase is in excellent undamaged condition.
