Early Meiji Period Japanese Export Nagasaki Yaki Tea Pot from a stunning Tea and Coffee Set with all pieces bearing the trademark signature of Tashiro Monzaemon of Hizen Province and Hichozan Shimpo Tsukuru.

These sought after wares bearing the marks shown precisely date the pieces to between 1860 - 1890.

Each individual piece has been hand decorated with the same theme in stunning enamel work in the early Imari palette on heavy porcelain and signed as mentioned above  with the same under glaze six character mark.

This Teapot is in excellent antique condition and is undamaged (see photographs attached) apart from an early gold coloured staple repair near the front, which adds to the authenticity and disirability of the item.
