A fine early Meiji Period Okimono Satsuma study of Jurojin (the God of Longevity), one of the Japanese Seven Gods of Good Fortune.
 
Depicted holding a fan and in finely detailed flowing robes highlighted in geometric designs and symbols of many colours and with his usual long beard and high forehead.
 
The condition of this Okimono is excellent retaining vibrant colours, no repair or loss apart from minor old loss to lower fan as photographed.
