THESE ARE NOW SOLD

An interesting pair of individual hand painted Imari Vases dating from the Meiji Period, c1890. 

These good sized unusual vases enjoy bulbous body with wavy flared rims and are decorated with all over panels of floral patterning, picked out in the 'Imari' palette, to a white glazed porcelain ground.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and with only very minor wear to the paintwork conducive with age.  

Height : 8½ins(22cms).
