A large antique Japanese porcelain plate decorated with a central vase and flower motif with vases, floral sprigs, butterflies and birds to the rim. The rim and sides are scalloped.

To the base is a six character mark and signature.


THIS ITEM IS NOW SOLD

This plate is one of a number of fine Japanese plates from a British collection and dates from mid to late 1800s (Meiji Period).

The condition is very good with only minor rubbing to gilding and enamels.
