IDEAL AS A CANDLE DECORATION/HOLDER

An authentic hand thrown and hand painted Cricket Cage made in the kilns on Hirado Island in the Arita Imari region.

Made in the heyday of Japanese Hirado ware manufacture , c1870 and of irregular reticulated hexagonal shape ,this lovely example is in superb condition for its age without loss or repair.  

N.B. This item can be sold singularly or as a matched pair.
