Description

A large and wonderful tapering and signed Hichozan Fukagawa Meiji Period Vase c1890.

In superb and undamaged condition this stunning, large, tapering vase has been finely hand decorated by the artist and features two large reserves,both displaying  a Nobleman with a Bijen in a lakeside setting under Mount Fuji.

The remainder of the vase displays all over fine flora and fauna decoration and is signed by the artist to the base.

A commanding,rare and very collectable item.
